1999 we have embarked on a journey into the unknown. The patterns of the international swell patterns have been guiding us our path. It was Morocco in the far north of Africa where we started to engage deeply into our driving force. First it was about finding waves, surfing perfect waves, adventure. Later it turned into sharing our passion with visitors. 2020 in the far south of the same beloved continent we have experienced how the world changed in just a couple days. The Cape shows us every day how life is truly stronger than any challenge we experience. And after 20 years of enjoying and sharing the stoke of our lives – It is finally our turn to adapt.

We have been living in a deep and engaging relationship with our surroundings, our community, and our visitors. But even more effectively, our passion held us together. It is therefore inevitably clear for us that we keep on doing what we are best at. We will continue to share our passion and pride we have in ourselves, our culture and Muizenberg. We will pass on the art of close and passionate observation.
Now it is time to meet the people behind the story… Who are we?
Karina: Starting her professional life as an actress she basically decided to become the main actor in her own story and there she goes. Always on the go and ready to lend you a smile. 
Tasneem: Is one of the smaller ones in the Adams family, she has been introduced to our team by her Auntie Aziza. And as the Adams family is always the biggest entertainer in town. Tasneem is the one running the show for #muizenberglovestories 
Anthea: It would be unfair to call Anthea the shadow of Tasneem but as the shadow always follows the light of the main act she does exactly know what to do and has become the 2nd half of our ‚kitchen trials crew’. She’s been proven a great talent in baking and deserts.
Gerrit: He is vividly applying arts and culture within the residencies he created. more info 
Madalitzo: Being a Malawian Bricklayer no job is to heavy for the man. He takes care of our castle and makes sure the love can be seen. A proper general when it comes to fighting the destruction of the south east. He is also running our ‚craftsmen workshop’ 
Mbuso: Since our website is called muizenberg.surf and we like to keep our promises Mbuso is surfing the Berg. He is a master of all crafts, but if it comes to logging you’ll instantly notice he’s a local. He’s running our muizenberg.surf academy
